Are you early in your pregnancy?
This research project on prenatal screening may be of interest to you. This is a randomized controlled trial where two third of women will receive FREE NIPT and one third will receive the current standard of care (maternal serum screening SIPS or IPS).
To participate you must:
_Want prenatal screening for Down syndrome.
_Be less than 14 weeks pregnant.
_Be pregnant with only one baby.
_Not intend to pursue self-pay NIPT.
_Be able to come to BC Women hospital in Vancouver for one in person appointment.
